Hi – I am looking for any information about two sisters, Winifred (age 22) and Bridget (age 20) Welsh, from Upperchurch, Co Tipperary, Ireland (Native place and Country). Their parents are listed as John (deceased) and Mary Welsh (living) also shows from Upperchurch, from details listed on the ship’s passenger list. They arrived in Australia on 27 July 1855. Origin Location (on another list) shows “Parish of Tons, Mile Water, County Waterford, Ireland”. I would appreciate any help you can give me with these two women. Thank you. Regards Helen Kirwin (nee Malligan)

    Hi All
I am trying to find the grave site of my uncle who died as a teenager in Thurles around 1940, his name was either James, Jimmy, Jim Riley. All the information that I have is that his grave had a small Iron Cross. This was made by a local blacksmith, who had their forge beside the grave yard.
Any help with this would be very much appreciated

Mary Murphy departed Upperchurch Ireland in 1841 in the vessel The Glenswilly for Sydney Australia. She was born 1822 circa – Her parents were Michael Murphy who had previously died and Hannah Kelly. I want to know her siblings and details of her parents grave inscriptions. Further details will be appreciated if they are available. Thank you

Looking for Carey/Carew buried in Upperchurch graveyard. The family lived in Shanballyedmond from about 1799 but originally came from Upperchurch. One member of the family Timothy Carew/Carey died in 1827 aged 26.
Any information would be fantastic. Is there a database from Upperchurch cemetery anywhere?
